Gold - Jan 30th (GMT): Market+

Physical trend over the years on Gold has been bullish with a drop below the MACD predictor monthly chart ending 2011 in December. Support was found at a 61.8 retracement at 1552.10 near the lower oversold band of the oscillator predictor which has since rebounded.

Last week's weekly close was just above the MACDP predictor though its trend has been bearish since September. Daily resistance is currently at XOP – 1740.

EUR/USD - Jan 29th (GMT): Market+

EUR/USD has trended lower from a monthly perspective since May of last year. Bearish confirmation on the monthly chart occurred in October 2011 with price falling below the 1.4020 value of the MACD predictor.

The current month of January shows a bullish rebound near the prior low of last Jan 2011 and forecasted support at 1.2920. A quick view at the weekly chart shows possible forecasted resistance (K) while price rises above the MACD predictor. The perception could either be a fading a bullish sentiment from turn in the weekly stochastics with further continuation down. Or, a sign potential long term bullishness if price breaks beyond resistance.

Potential movers/higher probability markets this week - watch these videos first:

S&P500 - Disrespected resistance held as support. This market is probably on its way to test the 1284 level, potentially even higher.
Copper - Strong resistance at 392.25-392.70.
10 Year Notes - Stop grabber LAL sell formed on the daily, this is pointing down to 128^20, potentially even lower.
EUR-USD - Weekly sell signal following through. 1.2850 the next strong support. Strong resistance at 1.3580-1.3630 and 1.3850-95
GBP-USD - Daily B&B played out perfectly.
Gold - Daily Sell signal confirmed - monitor this closely for follow through. If resistance can hold and strong dynamic pressure on the sell signal form it could take the market down to 1643.90-1638.10.
Natural Gas - Weekly sell stop grabber still in play. This is targeting the lows of 3.286 as long as we get and stay below 3.528 this week.
Sugar #11 - Daily B&B sell signal played out perfectly.

To Our CME Group Trading Community,

On Friday afternoon, CME Group took two very important steps to further protect CME Group customers from the failure of MF Global:

First, CME Group has offered a $250 million guarantee to assist the bankruptcy trustee in releasing additional customer assets - including currently frozen cash balances - that continue to be held securely at CME Clearing, other clearing houses and MF Global custodians. Though CME Clearing does not guarantee FCM-held assets, this action is intended to give the trustee greater latitude to make an interim distribution of cash to customers now, given the considerable work he still has yet to do to complete the MF Global liquidation and make distributions to creditors. The guarantee would provide the trustee access to additional funds if a partial distribution of the remaining cash was found to have given some customers greater amounts than they would have been entitled to in the full claims process to follow.
Second, the CME Trust will make $50 million in assets available to offset losses by CME Group customers due to MF Global's improper handling of funds held at the firm level. As you may know, our Trust was established in 1969 to provide assistance in the case of a clearing member failure.

More details on our announcement are available in the press release.

While we understand this is complex, we believe this extraordinary measure is necessary to ensure that all customers are treated fairly during the unique and challenging circumstances surrounding the failure of MF Global. We continue to work with the Trustee to return all of the remaining segregated funds to customers as soon as possible as allowed by law.

Our main concerns continue to be the protection of our customers and the integrity of all futures markets. The MF Global situation calls for extreme measures, and we will continue to advocate on behalf of customers - wherever they clear or trade.

Starting on Monday, November 14th at 8:00 am CT, PFGBEST will be allocating block trades every half hour. Allocations used to take place once a day and appear in the customers account at the end of the day. Now trades will allocate on the hour and half hour and appear in the individual customer account.

Just a thought as I was talking with another trader. We were chatting on how a lot of us started with a similar notion to visualizing Tony Stark (Iron Man). Guy goes into his workshop and works on the latest and greatest invention which in our case is the mix and match of variables in combination for the ideal trade. It's the notion that kept us moving forward. However, reality is really a different twist. Rather than finding that one notion of the ideal invention, it's doing lots of little plain vanilla trades good & bad while maintaining a statistical 'casino' edge that makes a difference. So, the quest then becomes -- what defines that edge?

NASDAQ100 - Weekly sell stop grabber confirmed. This could take the market at least to the stops of 2108.25, potentially even lower. Be careful if this market takes out resistance and get back above the weekly MACDp at 2214.50 this could turn this bearish situation around.

Copper - Monthly DRPO LAL sell signal played out perfectly all the way to the XOP! Daily still thrusting down, but a throw back rally from these monthly support levels aren't impossible. Trade with this thrust from strong nodes, doing scalp o ramas. Keep an eye out for the daily B&B.

10 Year Notes - A pullback possible with daily sell stop grabber LAL now in play. Still below big resistance area. The market needs to get above and stay above resistance to confirm another up leg. Else we should wait for the weekly B&B buy signal.

EUR-USD - Daily B&B sell signal played out perfectly.

GBP-USD - Quarterly Stop Grabber sell confirmed. This quarterly stop grabber and a potential monthly OOPS sell could take this market down to the yearly COP support of 1.2422 if they confirm. Daily is thrusting down, rather trade with this thrust or wait for the daily B&B sell signal.

USD-JPY - Lot's of uncertainty in this market. Weekly/Daily wash and rinse buy formed on Yearly XOP support. This could open the way for Yen weakness against the dollar as long as the low of 75.94 can remain intact. Monthly sell signal confirmed, which could bring in more Yen strength. The low of 75.94 is the line in the sand between these 2 scenarios. Rather wait and see how this pans out. Scalp o Ramas the best trade plan currently for this market. Weekly sell stop grabber confirmed. This could target the all time low. Watch the daily sell signal for dynamic pressure.

AUD-USD - Market reaching significant support - a bounce from here isn't out of the ordinary. Watch the level closely, since we could still be on our way to quarterly K support. Just above parity we've got some good daily resistance in this currency pair.

Gold - Weekly wash and rinse actually bringing in substantial selling in the gold market. We now have our weekly close below the 3x3 for the B&B buy signal. The market is resting on a strong monthly K support which could trigger the B&B buy signal up towards 1800. Be careful if gold falls to 1500, since this will recognize a MASSIVE monthly RRT and possibly the end of the gold bull.

Crude Oil - Keep a close eye on the weekly close - the quarterly support could break and MACDp turn bearish. This is very bearish for Oil and could take the market down to at least $64 over the longer term.

Natural Gas - Could be the beginning of a longer term bear market in Natural Gas with the monthly potentially turning down. Watch support and the monthly MACDp closely for a potential stop grabber as well.

Soybeans - Support broke and daily now thrusting down. You want to trade with this thrust or wait for the daily B&B.

Understanding Continuous Contracts - TNG

Given where I've received questions concerning the chart types used on TradeNavigator, I thought it'd be helpful posting the following information for easy reference from the support team at GenesisFT.

What is a Continuous Contract?

Continuous Contracts are artificial contracts created by combining portions of actual contracts together to get a longer view of commodity patterns. Actual contracts generally have a short life with little activity during the early portion of the contract. Continuous contracts, on the other hand, can be created to look at the most active portions of each contract, end-to-end, going back over many years. This allows you to get a better feel for trends and is helpful in strategy testing. The portions used from each individual contract will vary depending on the type of continuous contract and the particular commodity. See Types of Continuous Contracts for those provided by Genesis and updated by Trade Navigator.

In Trade Navigator, to see which contract is the current front month for a continuous contract, place your crosshairs (or cursor) on the last bar showing in the continuous contract chart. Look in the gray area just above the chart (with your cursor still on the last bar). The current front month contract will be displayed just to the right of the date in parenthesis. Thu 5/1/03 (BO-200307) would mean that on 5/1/03, July 2003 was the front month for BO.

In Trade Navigator, whenever the mouse pointer is positioned within the graph, the data for that particular day is displayed between the title bar and the top of the graph. The original contract used on the particular date on the graph will be displayed in parentheses next to the date.

Roll Date

The roll date is the date when the continuous contract stops pulling its data from one contract and moves on to the next. e.g. a BO-067 takes its data from the May contract until it rolls, at which time it rolls to the July contract if the volume and open interest are greatest for the July contract.

Open Interest/Volume Roll

A dynamic roll method which follows closest to the liquidity of the market. The contract is designed to roll after considering several conditions. The primary condition is when the next contract has greater volume and open interest for two consecutive days than the one currently being used. Additional conditions are used for markets with almost all open interest in only two contracts, markets that are extremely regular in their roll date, and markets that tend to roll very close to expiration. When the conditions are met the contract rolls to the next contract. Roll dates will vary. This is the most popular method amongst our customers and is the basis for our 057 and 067 contracts.

Gann Contracts

Gann contracts are artificially created contracts created by combining actual contracts together. These contracts roll from calendar month to same calendar month. For example: March 98 rolls into March 99 and so on. These contracts roll on the expiration date and have no price adjustment. Contracts are labeled from 081 through 092. To determine the month represented, subtract 80 from the last 2 digits. For example: 89 -
80 = 9 (September), 83 is March and 92 is December.

Spot Month or Contract

The contract currently closest to expiration.

Back Adjusting

When a continuous contract rolls from one contract to another, there is usually a difference in price between the two contracts on the roll date. This difference in price can result in a price gap on your chart.

Back adjusting takes the difference between the two contract prices and adjusts all previous price points by that difference to remove the gap. The primary advantages of back adjusting are that the graph "smoothes" the transition between contracts so that it does not give false signals due to a sudden change in price and existing trends are retained. Be aware, though, that all prices prior to the most recent roll date are adjusted and not actual.

The 50 series (55's, 56's, 57's) are NOT "Back-Adjusted" -- When the 50's series contracts roll from one contract to the next, they do not factor out the price difference that naturally occurs between where the old contract is currently trading and where the new contract is currently trading. This kind of raw data is designed simply to show the exact prices where that symbol was actually trading on any particular day in history, but is typically NOT used for analysis. The price on the first day of the new contract may be well above the previous day's price and make it "look" like the market went up, when in fact every contract of that market could have been down on the day of the roll. This can fool most indicators into giving false indications for a trade. This is why the 60's series contracts were developed.

The 60 series (65's, 66's, 67's) ARE "Back-Adjusted" -- When they roll from one contract to the next, they do factor out the price difference that naturally occurs between where the old contract is currently trading and where the new contract is currently trading. We do this by calculating the difference between the closing prices of the two contracts at the end of the session immediately prior to rolling to the new contract, and subtracting that from all history prior to the roll.

Back-adjusted data is DESIGNED FOR ANALYSIS purposes. Since the price difference between contracts has been factored out, the back-adjusted transition between the last bar of the old contract and the first bar of the new contract provides a genuine reflection of the market as a whole. Thus the same "patterns" of the OHLC for today compared to yesterday will be reflected in back-adjusted data and most indicators will perform exactly the same on back-adjusted data across the transitions as on the individual contracts.

Types of Continuous Contracts

The following are various types of end-of-day continuous contracts that can be provided by Genesis and automatically updated by Trade Navigator.

055 - Cont 1st - Rolls on first trading day of the expiration month

055s roll from the spot month to the next contract on the first trading day of the expiration month and have no price adjustment.

056 - Cont Exp - Rolls at expiration

056s roll from the spot month to the next contract at expiration and have no price adjustment.

057 - Cont Liq - Rolls based on Volume and Open Interest

057s roll from the spot month to the next contract on a date based upon the Open Interest/Volume roll method and have no price adjustment.

065 - Cadj 1st - Back adjusted, Rolls on first trading day of the expiration month

065s roll from the spot month to the next contract on the first trading day of the expiration month and are back adjusted.

066 - Cadj Exp - Back adjusted, Rolls at expiration

066s roll from the spot month to the next contract at expiration and are back adjusted.

067 - Cadj Liq - Back adjusted, Rolls based on Volume and Open Interest

067s roll from the spot month to the next contract on a date based upon the Open Interest/Volume roll method and are back adjusted.

081 - 092 - Gann Contracts

These contracts roll from calendar month to same calendar month. For example: March 98 rolls into March 99 and so on. Gann contracts roll on the expiration date and have no price adjustment. Contracts are labeled from 081 through 092. To determine the month represented, subtract 80 from the last 2 digits. For example: 89 - 80 = 9 (September), 83 is March and 92 is December.

099 - Cash Contracts

099s are cash contracts and are not artificially created continuous contracts. The price values represent the cash settled price for the market. Cash contracts are not available for all commodities.

The 55's and 65's are designed to roll on the first trading of the month of expiration.

The 56's and 66's are designed to roll upon expiration. This stays with the current contract until it expires, then it rolls to the next contract on the following day.

The 57's and 67's are designed to roll when the new contract becomes more "active" (or liquid) than the old contract.

THE BOTTOM LINE: For most kinds of analysis we highly recommend the "67" continuous contracts (such as the SP-067, TQ-067, W-067) since they are designed to stay with the "active" contract or the contract most likely being traded on any particular day and they are back-adjusted to provide a "corrected" price transition from one contract to the next.

With all of the above said, the software will allow you to submit trades when using continuous contracts on a chart, but the order is submitted against the individual contract month.

Dow and S&P500 - Keep a close eye on the weekly MACDp for a stop grabber. Nearing some good resistance with weekly OB and a monthly sell. This could provide a good selling opportunity either for a monthly trend trade or a scalp o rama.
Copper - Monthly DRPO LAL sell signal confirmed. This could take the market to at least the 371.95 - 367.40 agreement area as long as it stays below 426.05 - 427.80.
10 Year Notes - Still below big resistance area. The market needs to get above and stay above resistance to confirm another up leg. Else we should wait for the weekly B&B buy signal.
EUR-USD - Daily B&B sell signal in play. Target = 1.3666
GBP-USD - Quarterly Stop Grabber sell confirmed, but possibly turning up this quarter. This quarterly stop grabber and a potential monthly OOPS sell could take this market down to the yearly COP support of 1.2422 if they confirm. Daily is thrusting down, rather trade with this thrust or wait for the daily B&B sell signal.
USD-JPY - Lot's of uncertainty in this market. Weekly/Daily wash and rinse buy formed on Yearly XOP support. This could open the way for Yen weakness against the dollar as long as the low of 75.94 can remain intact. Monthly sell signal confirmed, which could bring in more Yen strength. The low of 75.94 is the line in the sand between these 2 scenarios. Rather wait and see how this pans out. Scalp o Ramas the best trade plan currently for this market. Weekly sell stop grabber confirmed. This could target the all time low. Watch the daily sell signal for dynamic pressure.
AUD-USD - Monthly stop grabber buy signal confirmed, this is targeting the high of 1.1080, but could be a risky play since the bigger picture are pointing towards a retracement. 1.0639-34 is the line in the sand and also keep a close eye on lower time frame buy signals for dynamic pressure. Daily confirmed into a sell below our line in the sand - this could lead the market lower, so watch that daily dynamic pressure closely.
Gold - The weekly is still thrusting up, this market is most probably still on its way to 1927-1973, the monthly XOP, quarterly XOP and weekly COP resistance. Be careful of shorting this market against the weekly and monthly thrust, but a daily wash and rinse sell has formed and could be a good sell, although high risk, since you are trading against the thrust - if you want to short the W&R keep a close eye on lower time frame dynamic pressure. Also keep an eye out for the weekly B&B buy signal.
Crude Oil - Keep a close eye on the quarterly towards the end of September for a quarterly stop grabber buy signal.
Natural Gas - Could be a big down week for Natural Gas. Daily confirmed into a sell signal and the weekly closed below our monthly F5 support. Next support at 3.70 and lower...
Soybeans - Daily B&B stopped out. Soybeans are on strong support now that needs to hold if the market wants to make another attempt at the highs. Could also form weekly and monthly buy stop grabber signals from these levels. However, if support breaks that could lead soybeans much lower.
Sugar #11 - Weekly sell signal confirmed. This could target the stops at 26.38. Resistance should provide a good selling opportunity and lower time frame sell signals should be watched closely for dynamic pressure.

New 10:1 Offset of E-micro Gold Futures (MGC) to Gold Futures (GC)

Effective September 12, 2011, the New York Mercantile Exchange, Inc. (“NYMEX”) and the Commodity Exchange, Inc. ("COMEX" and collectively the "Exchanges") will implement amendments to NYMEX Rule 855 (“Offsetting Different Sized Futures Positions”) and COMEX Rule 120.07 (“E-micro Gold Futures - Delivery and Conversion”) to allow for a 10:1 offset of E-micro Gold futures and Gold futures contracts.

In order to allow the E-micro Gold futures contract to be fungible with the Gold futures contract, the current delivery specifications will be modified such that on any day during the delivery period until the last intent day, only deliveries in ten (10) contract multiples would be allowed to be delivered. On the last intent day, any quantity of E-micro Gold futures can be delivered.

The rule amendments are provided below additions underscored. The aforementioned changes will become effective on Monday, September 12, 2011.

Copper - Daily DRPO buy signal played out nicely at 411. Potential Monthly DRPO LAL sell signal coming up if the market can close below the 3x3 at the end of the month.
10 Year Notes - Daily B&B buy signal played out nicely. Yearly and monthly OP's met in this market, so risk has increased for long positions. It needs to get above and stay above resistance to confirm another up leg. Keep a close eye on the daily 3x3 for a potential DRPO sell signal.
EUR-USD - A potential big up move ahead for the Euro if the stops indicated on the daily can trigger. Look for follow through as they get triggered.
GBP-USD - Weekly stop grabber buy signal confirmed. This could take the market back to the recent high of 1.6618 as long as we remain above the weekly MACDp at 1.6255 for the week. Quarterly Stop Grabber sell confirmed, but possibly turning up this quarter. The weekly wash and rinse buy on the monthly support could counter the quarterly stop grabber sell.
USD-JPY - Lot's of uncertainty in this market. Weekly/Daily wash and rinse buy formed on Yearly XOP support. This could open the way for Yen weakness against the dollar as long as the low of 75.94 can remain intact. Monthly potentially turning into a sell signal, which could bring in more Yen strength. The low of 75.94 is the line in the sand between these 2 scenarios.
AUD-USD - Daily stop grabber buy confirmed on daily K support. As long as the support can hold and the market remain above the MACDp this could target the high of 1.0603. Also keep an eye on the monthly MACDp towards the end of the month, a stop grabber buy signal could be forming, targeting the high of 1.1080.
Gold - Daily B&B playing out nicely. A potential RRT has formed, the market entered a small consolidation on the daily for the point of recognition, but the weekly isn't showing this clearly. This increases the risk substantially for the RRT to fail. Keep a close eye on the *F5 resistance on the daily - that will be you line in the sand for whether the RRT will work or not.
Crude Oil - Keep a close eye on the quarterly towards the end of September for a quarterly stop grabber buy signal.

Coffee - Monthly B&B buy signal played out perfectly. Daily up thrust starting to form - so keep an eye out for a daily B&B buy signal as well. A potential monthly stop grabber buy signal can form which could target the highs at 306.25.
Soybeans - Monthly stop grabber buy signal coming up if we can close above the monthly MACDp at the end of August. This could lead the market higher, especially with the weekly wash and rinse and MACDp buy signal already confirmed. Daily also starting to show thrust up.

CBOT Interest Rate Futures Enhancements

On Sunday, August 21st, 2011, the CME will be implementing enhancements for CBOT Interest Rate Futures and Futures spread products.

As a result of this change all remaining GTC and GTD orders for these products will be cancelled by the CME after 4:00 pm on Friday, August 19th. GTC and GTD orders for these products may be re-entered during the extended Pre-Open period starting at 3:00 pm on Sunday, August 21st.

    You can now show your fills and orders on charts while you are trading. You can modify, cancel and replace orders, and track your fills directly from the chart window. Here's how:

    >> Log on to BD8
    >> Click on Best Charts on the top toolbar
    >> Enter the symbol for the commodity you are trading
    >> Right click on the chart and select Show Fills
    >> Right click on the chart again and select Show Orders

    This will flag where you bought and sold the product, while simultaneously charting the commodity.

We realize there has been some confusion on what the new Real Time Index Exchange fees will include. We are going to extend the real time access for Indices through the end of August 2011 to allow Streaming clients to have Real Time Data on Indices.

Starting September 1st, 2011 the Real Time Exchange fee for Indices will be $9 per month. This will include all Indices that we offer in Real Time. If you would like to subscribe to this, email us anytime between now and August 31st at customerservice@oahucapital.com. We will not charge you the $9 for August as we will cover the costs of the exchange fees this next month. We are covering the cost to allow plenty of time for you to contact us if you are interested in Real Time Index data. Streaming clients will continue to receive delayed index data without the additional real time fee.

DLEVELS Financial Forecast Week of Aug 1 - 5

Potential movers/higher probability markets this week - watch these videos first:

EuroSTOXX50 - Weekly K resistance held on monthly confirmed bearish! I believe this is significant, since we had no follow through on the monthly buy signal. The sell should take us towards monthly K and agreement support, but if the market breaks that we could be in for a big sell off.
China 25 ETF - Monthly stop grabber buy negated as monthly sell signal confirmed.
Copper - 3rd monthly stop grabber buy confirmed. This should keep the market going towards the high of 462.55.
10 Year Notes - Quarterly stop grabber confirmed - this should lead to lower prices and higher interest rates, targeting 117^29.5 - 117^22. Weekly stop grabber played out perfectly. Monthly confirmed up. Daily also confirmed up - watch this closely for dynamic pressure as the market is against resistance and overbought.
GBP-USD - Quarterly Stop Grabber confirmed. This could have a major impact on the Pound over the next 6 - 12 months possible taking it below 1.4230. The weekly wash and rinse on the monthly support could counter this move.
AUD-USD - Yearly OP now met. Risk has increased substantially for long positions around these areas.
Crude Oil - Looks like the monthly B and B are underway. Daily W and R confirmed against resistance. Keep a close eye on 95.50, if the market gets below that we could be heading lower towards the quarterly K.
Natural Gas - Weekly stop grabber confirmed. This is targeting the stops at 4.064 on the weekly.
Coffee - Keep a close eye on the current support. Weekly oversold as well. A daily buy signal could be the trigger for the monthly B and B as long as support holds, else it could head to the lower support around 228.
Soybeans - Weekly stop grabber confirmed. This could lead the market lower towards 1290.

FX Futures - eMicro - DiNapoli Levels

Thought I would include a brief post on FX futures with questions in relation to spot Forex.

Below is an opinion I wrote earlier for a client asking on measuring market strength on various time frames with respect to currencies.

On intraday time frames, your interpretation will likely be measured on price action relative to a technical or fundamental (economic release) outlook. So, if you're using DiNapoli indicators for example, you might identify given level of resistance say at a fib level where price is backing down while the MACDp (predictor) value is moving higher up. This could indicate a potential adjustment towards a bearish trend as a bias to how price action is performing at a resistance level not breaking higher highs.

The above might be in relation to your outlook on a 30 min chart that could have combined relevance to a directional pattern on that time frame. So, if all of this is in relation to a 30 min context, for weakness based on technical, that's how your trade plan forms. It could be vastly different from a high frequency trader scalping on ticks or an options player viewing strength based on a daily or weekly time frame.

China 25 ETF - Monthly stop grabber confirmed. W&R low needs to hold if this market wants to move higher, else the stop grabber could fail.
Copper - 2nd monthly stop grabber confirmed. This could have a big impact on the market taking it up to the previous all time high, and potentially 490. Daily Stop grabber also confirmed, targeting 445.65.
10 Year Notes - Quarterly and monthly sell stop grabber confirmed - this should lead to lower prices and higher interest rates, targeting 117^29.5 - 117^22. However, a weekly stop grabber also confirmed to the upside - so conflicting signals here. Keep a close eye on dynamic pressure. The weekly could easily play out and the quarterly still confirm another stop grabber.
EUR-USD - Weekly stop grabber in played out nicely.
GBP-USD - Quarterly Stop Grabber confirmed. This could have a major impact on the Pound over the next 6 - 12 months possible taking it below 1.4230.
AUD-USD - Daily wash and rinse confirmed. This market is most probably on its way to the yearly OP @ 1.1086. Daily K support could provide a minesweeper B entry after daily F5 support held and the market made new highs.
Gold - Gold moved above the yearly XOP again. Daily is showing thrusting action.
Coffee - Market looks set up to test the 240 area again. Be on the look out for a wash and rinse down there, that could be the trigger for the monthly B&B to begin.
Sugar - Daily RRT in the city has formed against the resistance. This could take sugar down to the 27.70-27.00 area.

EUR.USD - Follow up

Given the drop in EUR/USD with all that's been going on (fundamentally), I'm posting a follow up where those trading the underlying contracts would obviously have done well on a bearish note. Those following the option line of thought on the bear put spread would have also had an optimal return over the last couple of days as well.

There has been ample opportunity for re-entry and where I'm posting below as follows:

Below is the 4 hr chart and note after the earlier forecasted drop, the pull back to "K" confluence.

Below is a 30 min chart with agreement and means of managing risk behind both agreement and a higher level. Most wouldn't use the OscP bands on intraday time frames. Over the last few years, I've found it applicable on 30 min and 4hr charts where it's certainly something to consider in the arsenal of strategies for containment.

* Equity Indexes - Still against BIG resistance - need to get above that. Potential RRT reversal on the S&P500, but not confirmed in the Dow or NASDAQ. Most probably these markets still want to move up...

* EuroSTOXX50 - Weekly stop grabber confirmed and daily turning negative on Monday. Keep a close on dynamic pressure in this market this coming week.

* China 25 ETF - Monthly stop grabber confirmed. Support needs to hold and the market needs to move higher so we can get above the monthly MACDp again.

* Copper - 2nd monthly stop grabber confirmed. This could have a big impact on the market taking it up to the previous all time high, and potentially 490.

* 10 Year Notes - Quarterly and monthly sell stop grabber confirmed - this should lead to lower prices and higher interest rates, targeting 117^29.5 - 117^22. However, a weekly stop grabber also confirmed to the upside - so conflicting signals here. Keep a close eye on dynamic pressure. The weekly could easily play out and the quarterly still confirm another stop grabber.

* EUR-USD - Weekly stop grabber in play. No follow through on the daily buy signal, which now turned negative. Also a potential pattern failure in this market. Keep a close eye on sell signals - if these bearish indications are good we should see good follow through on the sell signals.

* GBP-USD - Quarterly Stop Grabber confirmed. This could have a major impact on the Pound over the next 6 - 12 months possible taking it below 1.4230. Daily stop grabber confirmed - targeting 1.6140.

* USD-JPY - Tug-of-war going on here at the moment. No follow through on monthly, weekly and daily signals. Watch the daily MACDp sell coming up closely. A stop grabber could be the trigger to send this market higher or a confirmed sell could send it lower.

* AUD-USD - Daily wash and rinse confirmed. This market is most probably on its way to the yearly OP @ 1.1086.

* Gold - Gold moved above the yearly XOP again. Weekly RRT most probably going to fail. Nice instert at the end of this analysis on how to read the market.

* Coffee - Monthly B&B possibly started from the 240 area. Also a potential H&S failure in play.

Equities Indexes - Should complete its move towards support. Major support to keep an eye on being approached on the higher time frames.

Copper - Monthly stop grabber confirmed. This could have a big impact on the market taking it up to the previous all time high, and potentially 490. We need to see support holding and the market get above 419.70. This signal could be negated if the market closes below the monthly MACDp on Thursday.

10 Year Notes - Daily still thrusting. Should test monthly COP's if it can remain above *F5 resistance. Potential daily B&B coming up...

EUR-USD - Weekly stop grabber in play.

GBP-USD - Quarterly Stop Grabber being confirmed this week. This could have a major impact on the Pound over the next 6 - 12 months possible taking it below 1.4230.

USD-JPY - Weekly Stop grabber formed, this could target the low of 79.56.

Gold - Weekly RRT still intact and weekly sell signal now confirmed after a very potent wash and rinse on the daily. This could lead gold down to at least the weekly OP for now, possibly even lower on the longer term... Keep a close eye on the 1500 mark.

Natural Gas - Daily starting to show thrusting action. Weekly also confirmed into a sell.

Coffee - Monthly B&B possibly starting from the 240 area.

Note on Equity Index Futures Roll Over

Thursday, June 9th the September 2010 contract will become lead month for all equity index futures contracts

Thursday, June 16th is the last trading day for March equity index futures contracts (pit traded). These contracts will close at 3:15 Chicago time.

E-mini CME equity index products will continue to trade through Thursday evening and will cease trading/expire at 8:00am Chicago time, the morning of Friday, June 17th.

Final settlement prices for the March contracts are posted on the appropriate exchange website.

* S&P500 - Weekly stop grabber still in play. Watch out for daily buy signal coming up - this would increase risk on long positions. A daily stop grabber sell will be bearish.

* NASDAQ100 - Weekly wash and rinse formed against resistance, got below the longer term resistance. Could test the previous low. Still holding below daily K resistance.

* China 25 ETF - Weekly dynamic pressure starting to form. Keep a close eye on the daily resistance areas to see whether the sell signal is still good.

* Copper - Monthly stop grabber to confirm this week. This could have a big impact on the market taking it up to the previous all time high, and potentially 490.

* 10 Year Notes - Daily is still thrusting. Nearing the *F5 resistance on the monthly.

* EUR-USD - Weekly B&B probably in play. Watch out if the market falls back below the F3 resistance.

* USD-JPY - Weekly Stop grabber formed, this could target the low of 79.56.

* AUD-USD - Weekly Stop grabber still in play. This could take the market up towards the yearly OP.

* Gold - Weekly RRT still intact, but weekly stop grabber starting to dominate. Above all important yearly XOP. This could open the way for an up move to the all time high. Risk did increase to be short this market. Keep an eye on intra day signals for dynamic pressure to monitor your risk.

* Crude Oil - Looks like the weekly B&B is about to start, keep a close on the daily buy signal for dynamic pressure.

* Natural Gas - Weekly Stop grabber still in play. This could take the market back towards the recent high of 4.729.

* Coffee - Likely to move lower towards the monthly F3/weekly F5 support. Keep an eye on the weekly oversold. The support could provide a good buying opportunity.
